Villas el Parque #18B: Central Studio Apart w/Pool

Beautiful, comfortable, private apartment in the best spot in Manuel Antonio! Positive: This was a great room! We loved it. We loved the outside living room space and the interior room was well equipped, and the air conditioning was excellent. The location was great too; we often visit Manuel Antonio and the rental house we usually get right nearby was not available, so this was the perfect alternative, with access to all our favorite restaurants and the bus line to the beach and to Quepos. The fridge and microwave and utensils and stuff were ample - it's not a kitchen, but we didn't expect one. Great bathroom, too. Loved relaxing in the hammock outside. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice. Great view from the balcony. Felt very private. Was quiet. We really liked this place a lot! Negative: My only criticisms of this place are the fact that it is down three flights of stairs, but that's not anyone's fault really, and the fact that the bed was not all that comfortable and I found the sheets to be a bit scratchy. Other than that, I have no complaints. I would recommend the host get better sheets, and maybe a better mattress, but it wasn't terrible, just not as comfortable as it could be.

Pleasant stay in a good area. Positive: The property was in a good location for both the town, its restaurants and for walking or taking the bus down to the beach. The terrace is very private and a lovely addiction to the space, we felt it made our stay. Negative: There is no small kitchen, just a microwave/coffee machine and a Fridge. I’d say it’s more of a room than an apartment without a kitchen facility. There is a pool, however we felt it wasn’t usable due to the surrounding smell of drains, as it wasn’t enjoyable to sit there.
